KINGS TRUST GET STARTED WITH ARTS AND PODCASTING WITH UDEVELOP
The group took part in a 5 day Get Started programme which was creative and innovative. This empowered individuals and provided learners with opportunities to soar creatively!
On Day 1 the group came together and looked through a briefing sheet and then took a lot of detailed notes on the Kings trust. They decided to create a short and snappy 60 second promo trail which was all about the Kings Trust and what services they offer. Kings Trust has partnered with UDevelop to launch this programme for us as a group.
This is the group having a discussion on the Kings Trust and sharing their ideas on what they would want the promo trail to be on which holds value and represents the Kings Trust as a whole.

This is the finished script which we created as a group for the Kings Trust promo trail which was then recorded and edited to create a reflective piece representing the Kings Trust and what they do.
On Day 2 we all gathered again as a group and prepared our personal centred podcasts. We had to create a script of the interests we have a passion for and then we recorded.
“One thing I loved about Day 2 and carrying out this task was that I was able to use my marketing skills from my degree and create and direct a promo trail for UDevelop. I also loved the fact that I was able to take lead and assign the group of what to say during this promo trail overall this was a wonderful experience and I loved the way everyone collaborated and created a fantastic promo trail for UDevelop”, as well as that the group created some wonderful personal centred podcasts.
This is an image showing Andra who was apart of this course, Andra created a personal centred piece on Live action role play and what it means and how it represents them as an individual this was then recorded and edited to create a wonderful podcast which showed value and Andra’s passion for Live action role play.

On day 3 we all met up again with James from UDevelop and created our own personal centred art pieces. We used a variety of different mediums to bring our visions to life we used paints, acrylic pens and oil pastels to create the pieces. In the afternoon we also came back together as a group and had a discussion about are artwork and how it represents us and what it means to us we also had a group discussion and came up with some ideas that we would represent on our group community piece.
